Scott's intoxication with motorsports began after college when he was hired by a company called Off Track Management which ran a racing simulator promotion for Marlboro Team Penske and C.A.R.T following the circuit from city to city. He then started working at "Marlboro Racing Schools", where he surrounded himself with driving instructors and was given the opportunity to go through the school with professional instruction. In late 2004, he purchased the 2005 Subaru WRX STI. His intentions were to compete in SCCA autocross, but later found it wasn't for him. Scott quickly fell in love with open track days which then evolved into competing in Time Attack.  Scott can be seen competing in the AWD Street Class with both Redline Time Attack and Super Lap Battle.
